Water Purification

Autoclaves and possibly treatment centres require pure water to run as they should. Purchasing distilled or purified water is one way to obtain this but is a very costly way of doing so.

The in-house solution for every practice is a built-in reverse osmosis (R/O) system. These compact machines are generally situated in the cabinets of the local decontamination unit and are plumbed in like a washing machine. They take water from the mains and filter it down to the purest degree, storing the highly purified water in a bespoke vessel.

From this vessel, the practice then has purified R/O water on tap to use for autoclaves and other sensitive equipment.

Another option is to connect these economical units directly to the autoclave which then allows the autoclave to draw all the water they require automatically and subsequently discharge automatically.
